The global community came together at the heart of European politics and policy making to discuss the future of human rights and technology. The event was a major success, with RightsCon Brussels becoming the world’s largest digital rights conference.

1,518 people from 105 countries and more than 700 organizations participated in RightsCon 2017. The conference covered a diverse range of the leading topics and challenges facing human rights in the digital age. Participants had access to 250+ sessions across 21 distinct program tracks, organized for attendees to more easily navigate the complex world of issues. Sessions took the form of strategy meetings, debates, initiative launches, high-level panel discussions, lightning talks, tech demos, networking events, and many more.
