Freedom of Expression: Meet with leaders and advocates fighting internet shutdowns worldwide. Plus, discuss the ongoing challenge of balancing Freedom of Expression with countering hate speech online.
Network Discrimination, Connectivity, and Governance: Tackle the ongoing discussions on Network Neutrality, Zero Rating, and Equal Rating, by examining cases from EU, India, and Latin America. Meet with leaders bringing rights-respecting principles to the global connectivity and development agenda.
Data Protection and Privacy: Learn about Data Protection policy trends in Europe and abroad, and how youth can become more engaged in high-level privacy related discussions.
Human Rights, Trade, and Business: Hear from tech company representatives about corporate social responsibility, including: transparency reporting, accountability, and implementing human rights policy.
Digital Security: Learn hands on tips on digital threats and how to keep your personal data safe and secure.
Capacity Building and Representing Youth Voice: Develop your advocacy toolkit to better engage and represent youth in digital activism.
Digital Inclusion and Diversity: Engage in open discussion about closing gender-gap in digital literacy and addressing online harrasment against marginalized groups.
