The Business & Human Rights Forum is an unique opportunity to unite, in Taiwan, global businesses, policymakers, and civil society experts. Panels will highlight impacted communities, corporate leaders, and legal experts, encouraging collaboration on due diligence and policy development. Global book launch: A special Taipei event!
Doublethink Lab and Kuma Academy
Chinese activist and artist Badiucao and Emmy-nominated journalist Melissa Chan present their graphic novel, YOU MUST TAKE PART IN REVOLUTION, to the Taiwanese public. A story about totalitarian futures and the costs of resistance, it imagines a future fascist United States and techno-authoritarian China at war — and its impact on Taiwan. The authors will reflect on how current events informed their story, and the unique potential of the comics format to communicate important messages to a mainstream audience, from adults to youth. Their book is out in the United States on March 4, 2025, and this is a special pre-release event.
